Process Specialist – Payments Compliance

We are seeking a motivated, highly-organized, collaborative, detail-oriented person with a passion for process design and optimization. As a Process Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end process design for transition from the Process Team to Operations. You will work closely with outsourced vendors to track operational performance and identify areas of improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic group of cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to Legal Counsel, Investigations and Engineering.

This is a six-month contractual role with a top-notch social media client.


  • Leading process design efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory and best practice requirements
  • Managing simultaneous process design and project efforts
  • Developing deep cross-functional partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Planning & collaborating with team members on a range of projects to improve process design efficiency and effectiveness of our operations
  • Applying analytic techniques to data information sets to make logical and supported recommendations
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing the required solutions
  • Monitoring trends and patterns within the Operations space and taking appropriate actions to mitigate
  • Liaising with outsourced vendors to ensure effective operational performance

Skills & Experience

  • Overall 6 + years of experience with minimum 3+ years’ experience in a project management or operations role
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing/implementing process or operational improvements is preferred
  • Proven track record of metric driven process and technology improvements
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects from end-to-end
  • Leadership and interpersonal experience with a proven track record of building relationships
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience analyzing data sets for efficiency and process improvements
  • Experience supporting various ad-hoc projects simultaneously
  • Curiosity and passion for new products and process implementation
  • Demonstrated experience working with an outsourced vendor
  • Experience with Compliance/Regulatory processes is preferred

  • A Graduate or Post Graduate professional
  • Certification in Six Sigma/PMP/Agile methodology will be a bonus.
