Director Life Sciences

Grail is in poised for an explosive growth phase hence, we are significantly ramping-up operations in our key verticals, especially Life Sciences and Healthcare. We are looking for a seasoned professional with expansive Healthcare domain knowledge and a Strategy Consulting mindset. The candidate will play an instrumental role in servicing the surge in demand without losing time and quality.

The designation will be Director and the reporting will be to the Global Delivery Head. Directors are a part of the Leadership team at Grail, and are expected to own client relationships, subject matter expertise and quality execution on multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

Commercial / Account Management and Farming
  • End-to-end responsibility for delivery on key client accounts – front end role in scoping and delivery of key projects to clients
  • Develop marketable solutions/capabilities
  • Adhere to high quality standards across all proposals
  • Identify sales trends and closely manage profitability on projects
  • Should be available to travel to present project outcomes to clients, and to support business development endeavours
    Engagement Delivery

  • Build analytical plans on accounts, and secure buy-in from client and internal stakeholders
  • Lead / participate in telephonic or in-person hypothesis gathering sessions, and moderate client discussions
  • Lead a team to conduct research as per standard industry protocols using multiple methodologies
  • Guide multiple project teams to cull-out insights and recommendations for the client, and help present project outcomes in client conversations
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and gravitas in business areas to help add validity and relevance to findings from an engagement
  • Ensure high levels of productivity and quality in the managed engagements
    New Account Development

  • Work closely with the sales leadership to develop new client accounts and new areas of business
  • Lead and support revenue growth by providing subject matter expertise in the design and delivery phases of engagements
    Special Projects

  • Manage any special projects/initiatives depending on the business need
Director Life Sciences

Skills

  • MBA / Post-Graduation from a reputed Management Institute
  • 10+ years of experience in delivering Strategic Insights engagements in the Healthcare industry, focussed on the US and European markets
  • Solid experience of leading project-based engagements and delivering findings to senior client stakeholders
  • Exposure of managing profitability of accounts, and driving revenue growth through Account Farming and Business Development support
  • Proficiency in leveraging more than one methodology for data collection is a must – Desk Research, Quantitative Primary Research and Qualitative Primary Research
  • Track record of authoring point of view articles, participation in conferences will be an added advantage
  • Hands-on approach and work as an Individual Contributor as and when required
