Assistant Manager – Marketing Operations

Grail Insights (now a part of the Escalent family) is seeking a highly analytical, data-driven, innovative, and tenacious marketer who can independently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and positive can-do attitude.


Key Objective:

As an Assistant Manager, Marketing Ops, you will be responsible to independently manage marketing campaigns and assist in ABM programs and marketing analytics. To succeed in this role, you should be a marketing generalist who understands the full spectrum of B2B Marketing with a technical and analytical bent of mind.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage our outbound email marketing engine, leveraging Growbots or equivalent, from setting up an audience to sending, managing responses, and reporting. Measuring opens, reply rates, and engagement and highlighting opportunities for improvement in segments and messaging.
  • Define segmentation based on message content, develop email pitches, and offer testing needs to enhance the campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain sender email accounts in good standing, with continuous IP warming. Liaise with Lead-gen to acquire audience list and share unsubscribe/bounced data for their action.
  • Understand business objectives and translate requirements into campaign targeting/selection rules.
  • Leverage new content opportunities to build and launch customer-based promotional campaigns through HubSpot.
  • Support ABM orchestration and program management
  • Perform in-depth account and audience research (pain points, interests, activities) that help deepen our engagement.
  • Help measure ABM effectiveness by facilitating reporting and key metrics on the account-based marketing programs
  • Identify the most effective marketing materials, channels, and messaging for top accounts.
  • Launch ABM tech stack via HubSpot and help integrate our marketing tech stack (integration of Growbots with Salesforce and HubSpot, integration of HubSpot inbound feature with HubSpot ABM tech stack)
  • Help populate and maintain a global marketing campaign calendar. Develop campaign dashboards/performance reports.
  • Propose email marketing growth strategies by conducting in-depth analysis.
  • Track and record marketing leads and attribution details for monthly, quarterly, annual analysis.
  • Other administrative ad-hoc support including but is not limited to recording marketing spends, maintaining contract documents, validating vendor timesheets, billing, etc.
Assistant Manager – Marketing Operations


  • Minimum 5 years of B2B experience in marketing operations and related role - MUST
  • Min. 4 years of experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform - MUST
  • Min. 3 years of experience with email marketing campaign tools (preferably Growbots or equivalent) - MUST
  • 5 years of experience in leveraging Google Analytics. - MUST
  • 2 years of experience in running and executing ABM programs
  • Should be an excel guru - MUST
  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools is preferable
  • Demonstrated history of managing and integrating marketing tech stack. You may be required to share samples of work. - MUST
  • Should understand B2B marketing and sales cycle with fundamental knowledge of integrated marketing programs (inbound, outbound, SEO, social media, Google ads, etc.)
  • Solid project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and change direction as needed.
  • Flexible to work in overlapping India and US shifts as needed.
  • Adept at debugging and solving problems with zero supervision.
